Anonymous asked: @Anon Get a ball python! They reach a good size, and they're absolutely the sweetest snakes in the world. :)

Anonymous asked: do you think it would be a bad idea to get a (young) burmese python as my first snake? I'd like to think I could handle it, but I've read otherwise in some places. alternately, I'm also thinking of a carpet python; would that be better? thanks!

urbanmongoose asked: Regarding that previous persons question, smaller sized vivs are actually better for many species, as snakes can feel very stressed and unsafe in large ones. Ball pythons, for example, can get very stressed and stop eating if you put them in a viv that's too big, which is why RUBs, (really useful boxes), are recommended for species like balls.

Anonymous asked: what are your thoughts on keeping these animals in small cages? it seems so wrong / sad that people think it's okay to keep snakes in such small cages. Just wondering your thoughts .

Tomorrow there’s a Reptile Expo at the Hamburg Field House in Hamburg, Pennsylvania. We drove over seven hours to get here. So it’s obviously going to be great. If you’re in the area you should come out. And if you live in the Wyomissing, Pennsylvania area you should hang out. Because we’re going to be here for three more days.

bathabit asked: You're welcome. And, okay, I do have a question, though. I have two adorable little corn snakes. :D And I'm positive that they are male and female. If I wanted to breed them perhaps, how would I go about doing that. Or can I even do that at all with them? Because, they know of each other's existence, but they aren't in the same tank. We got them about two weeks apart from each...
